Payment security

The security and convenience of your payments is our top priority!

We want you to feel safe and secure when you pay, and we've done everything we can to make that happen.

For all transactions in the payment sector, the information flow system is carried out through an intermediary - the so-called payment gateway, whose communication window is displayed on our website. You enter your data on our website in a secure payment gateway environment, and each of the payment options that you select after entering your shopping cart on our website takes place exclusively through this payment gateway. We, as a retailer, do not have access to your payment card details or your bank account information even though you enter these details on our website. You enter them into the payment gateway through which the entire transaction takes place. All transactions are secured and encrypted and we, as the seller, have no way of interfering with them.

What is a payment gateway?

By this term you can imagine a technology for sending cashless payments in the online space, which must be certified and accredited by the relevant financial certification bodies. All online transactions on the Internet are conducted through secure payment gateways. All banks have their own sophisticated payment gateways, even yours. The payment gateway securely encrypts and transmits customer data, including banking information or credit card details, to the payment processor (bank). Payment gateway technology protects both the customer and the merchant.

Our payment gateway.

There are many payment gateways in the global and local payment market.

We have chosen the world's leading global platform STRIPE, a payment gateway that is undoubtedly one of the most advanced, sophisticated and secure platforms in the world, as our partner for financial transactions. In its portfolio, it brings together and offers a variety of payment methods used worldwide in more than 135 global financial currencies. This transaction platform is used by the largest and most famous companies such as AMAZON, TWITTER, BOOKING, SHOPIFY, FORD, BLOCKCHAIN, GETAROUND, SPOTIFY, N26, FTX, WORDPRESS, WOOCOMMERCE or even the BRITISH COUNCIL and many others.

STRIPE enables a rich variety of payment methods used in global commercial payments:

  • Card payments (VISA, MASTERCARD, MAESTRO, AMERICAN EXPRESS,...)
  • Direct bank transfers (SEPA DIRECT, EPS, iDEAL, SOFORT, GIROPAY,...)
  • Electronic wallets (PAYPAL, N26, REVOLUT,...)
  • Other (GOOGLE PAY, APPLE PAY, KLARNA, ...)

How does it work?

After selecting the goods and completing the purchase, the customer proceeds to payment in the shopping cart. At this point, the customer is automatically and securely redirected to the STRIPE payment gateway page and its communication window is automatically displayed on our website. From this point on, the payment gateway takes over the communication with you and you enter all the data required from you by the payment gateway in its secure environment. The web browser used by the customer encrypts the customer's data and sends it to the payment gateway. Even if the customer cannot see it, all data flows in a very sophisticated complex encrypted form. The Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol or the more modern and even more secure Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol is used to encrypt the data, which is the successor to the older SSL system and our STRIPE payment gateway now exclusively uses this TLS protocol. Communication is done using complex cryptographic keys at millisecond intervals, thus ensuring the security of the encryption of each customer's data flow.

Anyone involved in the processing, transmission or storage of data, for example payment card data, must comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). STRIPE has been audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available across the payments industry.

With online payments, your money never goes directly to the merchant's account. It is a process of communication between the customer's bank and the merchant's bank, with the help of a payment gateway, in which, for example, in the case of a card payment, an authorization centre (card association) still enters and validates the payment.
